The Creative Arts event, hosted by Ashbourne College exhibited pupils work on the 26th March, displaying everything from fashion and textiles to graphics and fine art. The students, who have been working on these projects for the whole year, proudly showed off their hard work to over 150 guests.
Those studying A-Level Design and Graphics, were accompanied by those who study Art and all got to showcase their work in Kensington Town Hall. Halfway through the show, the textiles and fashion students put on a fashion show, showing off their talent and hard work for all to see.
The night was accompanied by canapes and drinks, with the audience being treated to an evening of dazzling creativity. The show closed with a film made by alumni, Charli Eglinton, which won Best Short Film at the EDUQAS Moving Image Awards and has also been made into an opera.
The school run events throughout the year, showcasing and exhibiting the students work and run their Creative Arts event annually, welcoming the public to attend.
They also have an open evening on 4th June, which invites any prospective parents or pupils to come and see the school as well as the work they do.
