A woman who is three quarters through her cancer treatment will be going head-to-toe in fancy dress for her last appointment. All to raise money for The Royal Marsden Hospital who have supported her throughout the course of her treatment.
Georgina Swallow, 26, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hogkin’s Lymphoma cancer in September and has arranged raffles, bake sales and a twenty-six-mile walk for the world-leading cancer centre.
She is requesting outfit ideas on her fundraising page, where she will pick one from a hat and wear it to her last chemotherapy appointment on February 12th. The winner will be posted on the page and social media.
“This cause is very close to my heart as the ABVD chemotherapy I get is very aggressive and The Royal Marsden really do take amazing care of me.”
She added how the donations would help secure the same care and treatment for patients in the future.
“They ensure their teams provide the very best care and develop life saving treatments ..
“From funding state-of-the-art equipment.. to creating the very best patient environments, they will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of others.”
