Cool customers can once again take to the ice as one of London’s most-loved ice rinks returns to the Natural History Museum in South Kensington.
This week sees the reopening of the iconic ice rink for the festive season following last year’s success, when over 165,000 people from around the world donned a pair of skates against the backdrop of one of London’s most impressive landmarks.
The rink will boast a sparkling 30ft Christmas tree, and visitors can watch all the action from a viewing platform. The Café Bar, run by Benugo, will be offering seasonal snacks and hot refreshments.
Every Thursday punters will also be able to enjoy Acoustic Lates 2018, a series of free acoustic performances from some of the UK’s best emerging talent. Last year’s performances included Scottish singer-songwriter Kerri Watt and soul vocalist Luke Burr.
The ice rink reopens on Thursday 25 October and is open until Sunday 6 January 2019. To book tickets visit www.nhmskating.com or call 0844 847 1576.
