Chelsea’s Indian Summer

This summer over 25 spice plants, native to India, are planted out in the capital›s oldest botanic garden, bringing a new meaning of ‹Indian Summer› to Chelsea. The Spice Garden highlighting the history, medicinal and culinary properties of spices and their importance to the world economy are featured in a set of fully illustrated panels next to a horticultural display, beautifully evocative of Southern India.
