Paddington Central is delighted to partner with Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), owner of Lord’s Cricket Ground, and Middlesex Cricket to celebrate one of the UK’s favourite sports with the launch of a pop up cricket simulator. To mark the opening on 3rd July, Paddington Central will be welcoming cricketing legends Angus Fraser MBE, Managing Director of Cricket of Middlesex Cricket, and former, first-class cricketer John Emburey who played for Middlesex and England. The simulator will be in place from 1st -14th July, open seven days a week from 11am – 7pm daily.

Located in Paddington Central’s amphitheatre, the simulator, powered by BatFast will be free to use and aimed at players of all levels of ability – perfect for wannabe batters keen to become the next Eoin Morgan! Visitors will have the opportunity to compete to win a spot on the ‘Total Runs’ or ‘Best Over’ leader-boards, to be in with a chance of winning tickets to Vitality Blast matches at Lord’s.

T20 cricket returns to Lord’s this summer as Middlesex prepare to play four Vitality Blast South Group matches on Thursday evenings at the Home of Cricket. Lord’s will host four Thursday night Vitality Blast T20 matches throughout July and August. Tickets are available from just £25 at lords.org/t20

Rob Stickland, Estate Director at Paddington Central comments, “We are delighted to welcome Angus Fraser and John Emburey to celebrate the quintessentially British sport at Paddington Central. We aim to offer an inspiring environment for people to live and work with a focus on promoting the wellbeing for our local community, and the cricket simulator is a perfect addition to our campus.”
