London QC, illustrator and children’s author Frank Hinks will showcase over 100 colourful hand-painted illustrations in a new exhibition opening this week at The Cello Factory.

Hinks has transformed his family into larger-than-life characters and depicted their adventures in colourful, surreal paintings for his fantasy storybook series Tales of Ramion. Hinks’ creations, which were inspired by the bedtime stories he invented for his children, will now be on display at the Lambeth gallery.

A Chancery QC by day, Hinks has created over 550 illustrations over the last 20 years, working mainly from a small art studio connected to his chambers in Lincoln’s Inn.

Original artwork from the Tales of Ramion series will be on display to celebrate the launch of four new illustrated titles this week.
