For Londoners in the market for a new job, March is one of the best months to apply according to online job-board, CV-Library.
Based on annual statistics from over 150,000 job listings on CV-Library, research shows that, of the sectors analysed, 90% will increase the number of job listings in March compared to the previous month.
It is a particularly good time to apply for Londoners interested in the telecoms, automotive, or medical spaces industries. The largest spike, however, is in the charity sector, which typically experiences a third more job postings this month than during February.
Whether Londoners are looking for a job now or later in the year, there are thousands of new opportunities that appear each day in different sectors, so do not despair!
Lee Biggins, founder and managing director of CV-Library said: “Although there are fluctuations throughout the year on the number of jobs posted, it really does vary based on the sector and when you are searching. The data we have found is evidence that London employers begin to post more in March – so don’t put it off any longer and start searching now to see if there are any great opportunities for you.”
