London’s largest free summer festival is aiming to help get Londoners fit and healthy with a range of unique activities ranging from Disco Yoga to the Cuban-esque Havana Londres.

The London Bridge City Summer Festival will play host to a selection of fantastic free fitness events this summer at its beautiful riverside location – presenting Londoners with the perfect opportunity to hone those beach-bods in the city sunshine.

The calendar of events offers a flavour of the most progressive (and often wacky!) fitness activities on offer in the UK.

DISCO YOGA on June 17

Bring to life your cosmic karma with disco divas Sarah Hunt (Sara Hunt Yoga & Nutrition) and DJ Darlo. Disco Yoga will reboot your booty and revive your spirits in a seamless session of flow style yoga to a dazzling disco soundtrack!

Don your spandex and pile on the glitter, it’s the most glamorous and fun way to bend and stretch. Blissful, energising sequences to a glorious mix of disco favourites like Diana Ross, Chic and The Jackson Five will rejuvenate your mind, body and soul, and have you ready for whatever lays ahead!

REGGAE AEROBICS on June 19 & July 3, 17

Reggae Aerobics is an exercise class that combines aerobics with the fast-paced dance moves of Africa and the Caribbean.

The class previously featured at Bestival, Jamie Oliver’s Big Feastival, BoomTown and The Madness Weekender to name a few.

HAVANA LONDRES on July 23

Think salsa fused with hip hop, reggaeton, afro, body movement, footwork, musicality and plenty of comedy! Known for their infectious energy and legendary parties, this is a school that will challenge you, change you and bring you to life.

SWING PATROL on July 24

Swing Patrol are a vibrant, energetic bunch who love everything vintage and are passionate about their swing dancing. You may have recently seen them on Dragons’ Den, Call the Midwife or BBC Peoples’ Strictly. From high flying aerials to the basic dance steps and everything in between, Swing Patrol know how to put on a show, raise the energy levels, and create a whole lot of fun.

For the full schedule, please visit www.londonbridgecity.co.uk. The festival is hosted at London Bridge City, SE1 2DB. The nearest overground and tube station is London Bridge.

All events are free and are accessed on a first come, first served basis. There is no need to register unless otherwise stated.
