On Wednesday March 29th, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unveiled the first in a series of nine remarkable Wraith ‘Inspired by British Music’ cars to a select number of Rolls-Royce customers and music luminaries including Roger Daltrey CBE (The Who), Sir Ray Davies (The Kinks), Giles Martin, Francis Rossi OBE (Status Quo) and Nick Mason (Pink Floyd). Each car was notably customised for each individual rockstar, most notably Daltrey’s which featured a striking decal of The Who’s Tommy album cover on it’s bonnet.
Each of the Wraith ‘Inspired by British Music’ cars have been created in collaboration with, and celebrate the legacy of, some of British music’s most revered rock and vocal artists. The cars were presented at the Sanderson Hotel, Fitzrovia by the artists who have created them in partnership with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. A proportion of each of the car’s value will be donated to charities selected by each musician, including The Teenage Cancer Trust.
