More Mexican mass graves discovered

Authorities in Mexico have found more than 250 skulls in what may be the largest mass grave site in the country, just outside the port city of Veracruz. Of the 252 bodies discovered, only two have yet been identified: Pedro Huesca, a young state investigator, and his personal secretary.

The site was reportedly located by a group of mothers who have spent months digging up the area in search of their loved ones. Veracruz, like several other Mexican states that have been under the control of Mexican drug cartels, particularly Los Zetas, have dozens of clandestine grave sites that government officials have previously attempted to cover up.
